About Mingalabar

We are a small group of Burmese people led by our founder, an immigration attorney with 20 years of experience, dedicated to serving the people of Burma by utilizing our legal expertise to provide assistance and advocacy.

·       We aim to see all people groups of Myanmar as one people living in harmony under the government elected and appointed by the people.

·       We reject the Military Coup and its inhumane crimes and actions against the people of Myanmar.

·       We acknowledge and support the National Unity Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar as the true government of Myanmar.

·       We stand together with our fellow sisters and brothers in Myanmar in Spring Revolution and we look forward to the day when the military dictatorship comes to an end in Myanmar.

·       Assisting those who are eligible to obtain humanitarian parole to come to the United States

·       Assisting those who are in the U.S. and wish to apply for Temporary Protected Status and/or Political Asylum

·       Advocating for the release of wrongfully detained Burmese and for humane conditions of incarceration

·       Generating suggestions for those plannings for post-revolution Myanmar

·       Utilizing our legal expertise to help build a federal democratic Union of Myanmar

·       Promoting Myanmar and its people groups and brings awareness to issues/events happening in Myanmar
